TEKDEP Warranty FAQ’s

Warranty Length: 

  • We offer free comprehensive 12 Month limited hardware warranty on all gadgets and repair services. Additional Term & Condition Apply. 

Warranty Request Process:

  • Online OrdersFor all tekdep.com online orders, warranty requests must be submitted on or before 90 calendar days of package racking information delivery date , Return Request via the form on the bottom of this page or contact via email,  support@tekdep.com , Please include order # and reason for warranty request.
  • All returns & warranty packages with no RMA number Will be refused and warranty or refund will not honored, all requests must submit using this webpage before mailing anything to us or it will be refused.
  • Local Orders, Visit our local TEKDEP store during our normal business hours to drop off device for warranty Service.

Free Online & In-Store Warranty Coverage and Limitations:

  • 3 Months Free Parts & Labor Coverage, the remaining 9 Months of warranty covers Labor cost only, Customer pays for parts when needed. 
  • Battery, Lcd Display & Software and your personal data are not covered under our warranty.
  • We repair or replace when part, tools or gadgets that only fail under normal operating condition with no external causes, 
  • After 3 attempts If we are not able fix the problem that is only related to our repair, we may decide to issue your refund or replace or re-do the service for free, exception may apply. 
  • Warranty dose not cover the display or issues arising with the device lcd or screen.
  • Software & operating system, is not part of warranty and will be charged at normal repair labor fees if service is required.
  • Malware and virus removal is not part of warranty and will be charged at normal repair labor fees. 
  • Customer pays for any additional unrelated or none-covered repairs if necessary for full operational device, plus labor cost 
  • No loner offered / no rental device offered.
  • All warranty’s are void under this circumstances
  • Any third party service attempts without our authorization during the warranty pried, Andy Misuse or mishandling of the device or negligible use, physical damage, operating the device outside of standard operational norms, any sort of liquid contact or liquid damage with the device. 
  • we are not repressible for other failures within your device, any additional issues that is requires our service will be charged at additional fee.
  • Warranty’s does not transferable unless Is required by law.

Online order shipping cost and Insurance.

  • Shipping cost: Customer pay’s shipping back to our facility in Los Angeles and once we fix the product and its ready to be sent back to you, will pack your item well and secure and ship back to you and provide you with tracking number via email. 
  • shipping insurance & signature required confirmation is available and its optional for a fee depending on the item value and method of shipping , Insurance or signature must be requested when starting the warranty request otherwise we will shipped back to you via economy without insurance or signature request, unless is asked for and paid for, we are not responsible for damages or lost happening during delivery and shippings. Insurance and is highly encouraged.

Your Data, backup & data Losses.

  • All Customer that require tekdep to perform a repair, service or warranty request is encourage to have a fresh data  backup of the device internal data in event of accidental data loss or if device get lost in the package delivery process. your data is your responsibility and tekdep makes no guarantee that can persevere your data, sometimes repairs can be unpredictable therefore backing up your data is your solo responsibility.

What’s the average turn-around time?

  • Usually 5 – 9 business days after your device arrives at or facility we should be done, with all require services and able to mail it back to you,  durning this time we inspect, diagnose and repair the roots cause issue or get you another similar device.
  • Delivery time is not accounted, And its depends on your location, after service is completed we ship back your device using economy shipping method for free unless you like to upgrade to overnight or express at additional cost of $59 domestically or $89 Internationally. once warranty request or submitted it takes up to 3 business day together a respond back, will be replying to the email provided.

What if no longer covered by warranty? 

  • If the item you have purchased needs service but fall outside of the warranty coverage, you can still use our service but normal repair rate will apply, plus cost of any necessary parts.

Abandoned property

  • All items must be collected within 60 days if we are not required to ship back and may dispose to appropriate recycling facility due to space shortage in our facility. if not pick up or shipping arrangement or customer is no response.
