Remove Rubber Strips and Bottom Screws
- Start by removing the glued-on rubber strips on the bottom of the laptop.
- Under the rubber strips, locate and remove two sets of Phillips head screws, plus two more screws near the front.
- Set the screws aside carefully to avoid losing them.

Separate the Bottom Case
- Use a guitar pick, plastic spudger, or similar tool to unlatch the bottom case from the top case.
- Carefully work your way around the edges to fully detach the bottom panel.
- Set the bottom case aside safely.

Disconnect and Remove the Battery
- Locate and remove the six Phillips head screws securing the battery.
- Note that two screw spots are empty due to the trackpad housing.

Remove RAM and SSD
