Tools You Need

You may also need a plastic card to help with prying and a magnetic project mat to organize screws.
Remove Bottom Case
- Remove the four pentalobe screws on the bottom of the MacBook.
- Flip the device so the hinge is facing away from you.
- Attach a suction cup near the trackpad, pull up, release the clips, and slide the bottom case towards you to remove it.

Disconnect Battery
