Tools You Need
For this repair, you will need a suction cup for lifting the bottom case, a Pentalobe screwdriver for the base screws, a T5 and T3 Torx screwdriver for internal components, a PL1 screwdriver for the Wi-Fi vent module, a plastic spudger for safely disconnecting flex cables, and tweezers to assist with delicate cable routing and alignment.
Remove the Bottom Case
- Flip the MacBook over and remove six pentalobe screws: two long ones at the top and four shorter ones at the bottom.

Remove LCD Hinge Covers
